I hate that doing small or big quests alike that offer no rewards at certain point, because either money is useless or the rewards pale in comparison to what you already have leaving you with a giant quest log of pointless activities that don't feed progression. Or actually be fucking balanced around how little or practical some skills are to level. I need XP to be removed from actions only or reworked with a new system. Some of these are likely less thought out than others, but I'm very interested to read what choices others would make. Ditch the 'chosen one' storyline and make working through a guild meaningful again by making you pick one and stick with it.Enchantments no longer need to be recharged but they are rarer and harder to do.but if you want to cart around a thousand cheese wheels, better start finding or crafting a big backpack and focus on a stamina build. You have a very low permanent baseline that can deal with keys, quest items, etc. Encumbrance is now primarily tied to the types of backpacks/containers you want to carry around with you.Let's get some menu and item wheels on the controller bumpers to keep combat from grinding to a halt whenever you want to select a new spell or drink a potion.Maybe an enemy has on a big steel chestplate but their legs aren't armored. Or maybe you just take the risk and hope you don't get a warhammer to the dome.

You probably want it on in battle but you'll want it off if you're just wandering around. Big heavy helmets? Hard to see out of those things. I would want to lean more into the sim-ish aspect.Armor, magicka, and stamina are the damage mitigation tools. No pumping points into life and leveling up doesn't affect it. I've been playing a lot of Chivalry II and would love to see that kind of combat make a return (I know the early ES games played around with a simpler version of it). Blocking much more important now to melee builds. I want more individual armor parts and I want a metric ton of them. Make the third person perspective viable or just ditch it.Here are some pretty big and/or probably not so big things I would do: With the idea that the Elder Scrolls gameplay loop remains essentially intact, what changes would you make? Get as granular or vague as you want. That's a lot of time to think about how systems could be improved, how UI could be improved, as well as maybe mixing things up with some nutso fundamental changes that refresh the feel of the series. So Skyrim's been out for a decade as of this week.
